Two childhood friends, and if you're being honest, then two trash with a criminal flavor get into a situation in which long-term friendship is not taken into account. What kind of trash is "trashier", the one who is trying to throw a friend for a certain amount of bucks, and in a very primitive way (they say the money was stolen while he was driving), or the one who, in an effort to return the money, takes the wife and child of his sidekick and companion hostage?

When a police department's burglary task force is facing the possibility of being shut down because of their low conviction rate decides to try a new approach to apprehending their targets. They take over a pawn shop where thieves go to unload their merchandise. They record them as they bring stuff in and get them to tell them where they got it. Eventually they're threatened by the mob.

An organic blend of action, suspense and gut-busting, hilarious comedy occur when two "good-natured" friends inadvertently snatch a bag that a cop needs to repay an overwhelming debt to the Irish Mob. What the duo find is that they are now knee-deep in a deadly web that not only includes a cell of crooked cops and the Irish Mob but also an endless array of shady, devious players - who are playing for keeps.
